Expat Centre Leiden

The ´╗┐´╗┐´╗┐´╗┐´╗┐Expat Centre Leiden´╗┐´╗┐´╗┐´╗┐´╗┐´╗┐´╗┐´╗┐´╗┐´╗┐ is an information centre for the many international knowledge workers who live and work in and around Leiden.

The region already has some 3,000 highly educated foreign workers. The Expat Centre Leiden provides information about living in Leiden, schools and healthcare, as well as all that there is to do in Leiden.

The Leiden region is among the most knowledge-intensive areas of the Netherlands, with the Leiden Bio Science Park, Leiden University, ESA Estec in Noordwijk and the bulb-growing sector. For such a region as this, the presence of highly educated staff is crucial. Given that highly educated technical staff are hard to find, many organisations recruit from abroad.
