International Staff

If you come to the Netherlands, you are likely to have some questions about arrangements you need to make. The International Staff pages are designed to help you with these and many other issues that may arise while moving to the Netherlands.

Leiden University offers staff attractive terms of employment, including a holiday allowance of 8% and a structural annual bonus of 8.3%. It is also possible, for example, to customise your terms of employment using the Terms of Employment Options Model. Here you will find an overview of the terms of employment that might be of interest to you as a member of staff.

Self Service

Career and development

The University believes it is important for staff to continue their professional development. It is important that you grow both in your current post and towards your next one. We therefore support your development and growth and look to your future together.
