Courses for academic staff

The university considers it important that its staff members continue to develop and aims to contribute to this process by offering a stimulating work environment and training possibilities.

HRM Training programmes

The Human Resource Management department of the Central and Administration Services offers an extensive range of training programmes in the following areas:

  • Research and didactics
  • Leadership and management
  • Personal development and communication
  • Career orientation

Academic Language Centre

The Academic Language Centre is part of the Faculty of Humanities. The Centre offers staff members language training in many different languages, both at beginner and at advanced level. The Language Centre also offers a number of English courses which focus on the use of English in an academic context:

  • Academic/Scientific Writing
  • Scientific Presentation
  • Workshop Summary Writing for Research Proposals
  • Teaching in English

LURIS - Research funding support

One of the goals of LURIS - Research funding support is to support researchers in applying for funding. To this end, LURIS regularly organises meetings and workshops on how to acquire funds for new research.

The LURIS website is not accessible to outsiders, and can only be viewed from a PC inside the university.
